Crack Den Nursery Update
The crack den update came to a screeching halt when we found out we were expecting. Buying new couches dropped to the bottom of my want list. For the past couple of months I have been slowly working on the nursery. Everything that I’ve purchased is stuffed in a corner or hanging from the ceiling. I’m waiting for the closet to be painted before I lay the jute rug and the souk rug down. Mer, thank you again for the souk rug. I am so excited about this piece in the nursery.
My blog paid off when Sarah, a friend and reader, saw that I wanted this glider for my nursery. She just happened to have a very similar (nicer) glider and ottoman in stone & brown piping. She sold it to me for a steal and even had her husband deliver it. So nice. Rod and my brother-in-law steam cleaned it a couple weeks ago. It looks brand new.
The crib was ordered 10 weeks ago - 10 WEEKS. I was told it’s in the Tulsa area and should be delivered soon. The dresser was delivered 2 weeks ago but was slightly damaged so we sent it back. Hopefully we’ll have some furniture in the next 11 weeks. It’s cramping my nesting style.

Here are just a couple of ideas. I know not everyone has the same interests. But, who could pass up a family drawing or photo album? A cold hearted dad, that’s who.
1. A drawing of his kiddos. He could hang this in his office or around the house. The image attached is my friend’s daughter, Presley, which hangs in their home.
2. A signature photo book. How often do you develop the photos on your phone or camera? This is a great way to capture your family’s life in the past year or so.
3. Same with Tiny Polaroid magnets.
5. Golf lessons.
